NSF Certified Food Grade RO Biofouling /Biocide Cleaner[ 20 Kg] WT – ROB900

Regular chemical cleaning of RO membranes will help to increase its performance and will extend its useful life. The main concern with cleaning is that it should be done before the situation gets too bad as then the membrane may become fouled and will have to be replaced. Cleaning should be undertaken whenever the permeate flux, differential pressure or conductivity changes to undesirable values. However it is better to clean the membrane regularly after a predetermined interval. Each type of fouling requires a different cleaning strategy depending on the water supply, membrane fouling may be inorganic, organic, microbiological or a combination. Our NSF Certified (NSF/ANSI 60) range of formulated Antifoulants and Cleaners are specially designed chemicals that keep these contaminants from attaching to the membrane surface. They also prove economical in the long run.

BIOFOULING (Biocide) CLEANER FOR RO SYSTEM

Our DBNPA based micro biocide is highly effective against all type of biofilm including sessile & planktonic organisms. It helps to cleans organic debris and biofilm & keeps the membrane surface free from Biofouling. Its Broad spectrum efficacy makes it compatible with tap water, brackish water, sea water & other chlorine resistance membranes.

DESCRIPTION

RO membranes often get fouled by organic matter and other slimy deposits. This damages the membrane and reduces efficiency of RO systems. Our WT-ROB900 is an DBNPA based broad spectrum microbiocide, which is is highly effective against all type of Biofilm including sessile & planktonic organisms. WATREAT ROB-900 helps to keep the membrane surface free from biofouling, and preserving it clean. WATREAT-ROB900 is very effective and suitable for potable water systems.

HANDLING INSTRUCTIONS

Keep the container away from direct heat & sunlight. Keep the container closed when not in use. The product should not be swallowed and prolonged contact with the skin should be avoided. Should it come in contact with the eyes, flush with clean, cold water and get medical attention.

RECOMMENDED DOSAGE

WT-ROB900 application depend on the severity of the membrane fouling and specific system parameter, Kindly refer RO Membrane manufacturer literature for specific product application.

OFFLINE CLEANING PROCESS

  1. A) Potable Water – We recommend a 1% by volume solution of WT- ROB900 should be used to soak the membrane for a contact time of 2-10 hrs depending on the Biological contamination.
  2. B) Non-Potable Water – We recommend a 5% by volume solution of WT- ROB900 can be used to soak the membrane for a contact time of 2-10 hrs depending on the Biological contamination.

Note: After the cleaning solution is removed, an alkaline surfactant based cleaning solution (WT-ROC1800) should be used to remove dead organic matters. All Biocide traces are to be removed through flushing with RO permeate water before using the system.
